CF School

CF School is a small, private, co-educational day school for Years 7–11 (ages 11–16), located in Buttonwood Park, George Town, Grand Cayman. Formerly known as Clever Fish, it was established in 2020 and now operates under the motto “Work hard, Be kind.” The school follows a British-based curriculum leading to Cambridge IGCSEs and A-Levels, but with a deliberately small enrolment (~30 students) to allow individualised learning in a nurturing, family-style environment.

CF School delivers the English National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7–9), personalised to the local context. In Years 10–11, students pursue Cambridge IGCSE subjects, such as English, Maths, the Sciences, Latin (a core subject), Business Studies, Travel & Tourism, Geography and PE. Class sizes are capped at 15 pupils and the staff–student ratio is approximately 1:3, ensuring tailored support. The school is in the process of registering as a full school but has already received a “Good” rating from the Cayman Islands Office of Education Standards in November 2023.

CF School is based in Buttonwood Park and includes modern classrooms and a new high school campus opening in September 2025. Students benefit from a built-in enrichment programme each afternoon (included in tuition), with offerings like sports, homework help, subject clinics, coding, robotics clubs, and a maths challenge event.

The school currently serves around 30 students taught by 8 full‑time specialist teachers. The weekly school day runs Monday–Thursday from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm (including enrichment), and Friday from 7:45 am to 4 pm. The annual tuition fee is CI$19,740, which includes after-school enrichment; an additional CI$500 resource fee applies. Admissions are open, but families are advised to enquire early due to limited capacity.

CF School is ideal for families seeking a small, personalized British high school experience where academic progress is combined with wellbeing and kindness. Its deliberately capped class sizes and supportive culture are well suited to students who thrive in individualised learning environments and value both academic challenge and pastoral guidance.
